Today Actor Michael Brea Star was accused and charged with the killing is own mother with a sword.

Michael Brea, who stared in the hit movie "Step Up: 3D" and "ugly betty" was found covered in blood standing next to his mothers dead body. A neighbor Vernal Bent heard the screams of his mother around 1 am in the morning. Calling the police then it took the police almost 45 minutes to get in through the door. It was said that Michael was chanting Biblical phrases. Yannick Brea was found in her bedroom fatally stabbed..

Michael is of course not the first star charged with murder there have been many through out history just a few other famous people that have been charged with Murder are.

Back in February 3, 2003, the body of 40-year-old actress Lana Clarkson was found dead in the Alhambra, California at the home of the legendary music producer Phil Spector. Clarkson had been shot in the face at very close range.

Spector was arrested and charged with second-degree murder. The producer claimed that Clarkson shot herself while kissing the gun. yet durning the trial many women testified saying that Spector had pulled guns on them while drunk. He had his first trail back in 2007 with a hung jury. but in 2009 he was found guilty and serving 19 to life sentence.

One of the greatest writers of the 20th century, William S. Burroughs shot and killed his common-law wife, Joan Vollmer, on September 6, 1951, in Mexico City. William Claimed that he was playing a game with his wife trying to shoot a glass of water off her head and missed striking her in the face. Later he changed is story telling the courts that he just happened to mishandling his gun and it accidental went off. William Burrough was found guilt of manslaughter and sentenced to two years in jail, suspended. In total, he spent about two weeks in prison.

Another Star charged with murder was the rapper known as C-Murder was charged with the murder of Steve Thomas after altercation on January 12,2002 at a local club. He was officially charged with second-degree murder. Yet, that verdict was overturned by the Louisiana Supreme Court back in 2006. Yet he was re-tried in 2009 and this time earned himself a mandatory life sentence in jail.

All these case show that just because someone becomes famous doesn't mean they are above the law or won't commit murderous crimes.
